The standard we fit to
The finish and quality we bring to every Christchurch job, whatever material you pick.
This gallery is illustrative of the quality we work to, not a finished job in Christchurch. We haven't photographed a Christchurch property yet, but the standard is the same wherever we fit.
One town, several very different kinds of home
From the Priory core to Mudeford Quay, Christchurch isn't one type of house.

Priory core, Georgian & Victorian frontage
Prone toOriginal joinery in the historic centre that's aged past its best, often inside a conservation area.
How we treat itWe'll survey with the conservation rules in mind from the start.

Mudeford Quay cottage
Prone to16th to 18th-century cottages where ground-floor units sit close to the water.
How we treat itWe'll fit to the property's age, not force a standard spec on it.

Highcliffe interwar suburb
Prone to1930s frames that have warped or lost their seal after decades of use.
How we treat itA straightforward like-for-like replacement, matched to the house.
Not sure which one's yours? Send a photo and we'll talk you through it.
Where we cover in Christchurch
From Highcliffe and Mudeford to Burton, Stanpit and Purewell, right through to the town centre, we cover the whole of BH23, including the streets around Christchurch Priory and the Harbour.

The same team, every time
Josh surveys and manages every Christchurch job personally, so you're not passed between a sales rep, a surveyor and a fitting crew.
He brings physical colour swatches to the survey too, so you're choosing a finish you've actually held, not a photo on a screen.
What Christchurch's conditions do to windows here
Three things worth knowing before your survey.
Historic-core joinery
Original timber in the Priory-side streets that's swollen, rotted or painted shut after decades of weathering.
Harbourside exposure
Ground-floor properties in Mudeford, Stanpit and the Quomps sitting in a flood-risk pocket near the water.
Quay-cottage access
16th to 18th-century Mudeford Quay cottages with narrow lanes and tight access that need planning for on the day.
Will the council let you replace your windows here?
Christchurch has 11 designated conservation areas, more than most surrounding towns, so plenty of the jobs we quote here sit inside one. The consent rules were simplified in 2013: like-for-like replacement is often permitted development, but an Article 4 direction can remove that right locally, and listed buildings are always assessed on their own. We've written a fuller answer on our flush casement windows page if you want the detail, but always confirm your own address with Dorset Council.
- 11 designated conservation areas across Christchurch
- Like-for-like is often permitted development, unless Article 4 applies
- Listed buildings are always assessed separately

How it works, start to finish
One call, one visit, one quote.
The survey
Every Christchurch survey is done by Josh himself, tape measure and colour swatches in hand.
The quote
Your measurements go straight to the supplier, then we come back with a clear, fixed price.
The fit
It's 50% deposit, a 3 to 5 week lead time for the windows to arrive, then the balance once the job's done.
The bits people worry about
Will I need planning permission here?
Often, under permitted development, but Christchurch has 11 conservation areas where an Article 4 direction can change that. We'll flag it at survey.
Will a Poole-based fitter really turn up reliably?
We're honest that we're based in Poole, around 13 miles away. Josh surveys and manages every job himself, wherever it is.
Do you cover my exact street, not just Christchurch generally?
Highcliffe, Mudeford, Burton, Stanpit, right through the town centre, yes.
We're based in Poole, here's how we reach you
We won't pretend to have a Christchurch shopfront. We're based in Poole, around 13 miles away, well inside the area we cover day to day. Josh surveys every job himself, wherever it is, so the person who measures your windows is the same person who manages the fit.

Andrea Aslett
We rang Josh as we needed some exterior doors removing so an item could be set in place. Josh turned up exactly when he said he would to remove the doors and then returned 2 days later and reinstalled them perfectly so it looks as though they hadn't been moved at all. Josh and his team were friendly, efficient and did the job for the agreed sum. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Found them on checkatrade. Josh was friendly and professional. Quoted a fair price. Came to fit on day promised. I will Def keep his no. As I'm sure more panes will blow

Josh and his team have always provided a fantastic service, consistently and efficiently managing repairs and replacements to our rental property portfolio to a high standard.
Do you actually cover my part of Christchurch, including Highcliffe, Mudeford, Burton and Stanpit?
Yes. Highcliffe, Mudeford, Burton, Stanpit, right through the town centre, we cover all of it from our Poole base.
Will the council let me replace my windows if I'm in a conservation area?
Often, under permitted development, but Christchurch has 11 conservation areas where an Article 4 direction can change that. We'll flag it at survey.
How much does double glazing cost in Christchurch?
It depends on the size and material, so we don't publish a set price. You'll get a clear, fixed quote after we've surveyed the job.
Is it worth replacing 25-year-old double glazing?
Usually, yes. A unit that age has often lost its seal, and the thermal performance is well below what a modern window achieves.
What's the best time of year to buy double glazing?
Any time works for us, though booking a survey before the busier spring months usually means less of a wait for your fitting slot.
What happens after I enquire? Will someone survey my home, and how quickly?
Josh calls to understand what you need, then comes out and surveys the job himself before sending a fixed quote.
