Natasha Evans
Josh and his team worked incredibly hard replacing all of the windows and doors in our house, including fitting a beautiful bifold door in place of our old French doors. We could not be happier with the results. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and Josh was fantastic with communication throughout the whole process. He was reliable, professional, and kept us updated every step of the way. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality work and great service.
Andy
Josh installed our new windows, triple track doors, roof lights and front door at our house in Bournemouth. A very professional, tidy and efficient service from beginning to end. Would highly recommend Wilshaw Glazing.
Connor McKay
Had new windows fitted throughout the house. Josh and the team were brilliant - turned up when they said they would, worked quickly, and left everything spotless. Really happy with how they look. Definitely recommend.

Questions people ask before they enquire
The ones that come up most often. Anything else, just ask.
What is the average cost for double glazing?
It depends on the size, material and number of openings, so we don't quote a blanket figure here. Our cost guide breaks down typical price ranges by window and door type, so you can get a realistic idea before you enquire.
Is there a government grant for double glazing?
Not directly through us, but government help may be available. The Warm Homes: Local Grant, which replaced ECO4 when it closed on 31 March 2026, can support double glazing costs for eligible households based on income and EPC rating. Check gov.uk for current eligibility before you get in touch.
What is the best type of double glazing: uPVC, aluminium or timber-look?
It depends on your house and your budget. uPVC is solid and cost-effective, aluminium gives slimmer sightlines and suits our coastal weather, and timber-look gives a traditional look without real wood's upkeep. Browse our full range of windows to see what fits.
Is it worth replacing 20-year-old double glazing?
Often, yes. A double-glazed unit's seal can fail after as little as 10 to 20 years, letting moisture into the gap and causing permanent misting between the panes that no amount of cleaning will fix. If your windows are misting up, that's usually the sign it's time.
What is the meaning of double glazing, and is it different from what I've already got?
Double glazing means two panes of glass with a sealed gap between them, instead of one. That gap is what cuts heat loss and noise compared to single glazing. Even double-glazed units wear out over time, which is often when it's worth replacing them.
